ABOUT US

The acronym in LAY Entertainment, Inc. stands for Luther And Yanni since it was formed by the synergies of E. Luther Ingram and Ioannis "Yanni" Skiotes.

Luther is the son of R&B legend Luther Ingram, whose smash hit If Loving You Is Wrong (I Don't Want To Be Right)  became the quintessential infidelity song.   He is currently working feverishly on bringing the film, from Yanni's script, to the screen.  The son brings a score of years' experience in R&B along with Hip-Hop.

"Lout" was instrumental in the company's acquisition of a four volume Dirty South Hip Hop catalog featuring a track from Ludacris.  He also produces music and owns ELI Management, his talent agency.

Yanni brings over 25 years of screenwriting experience to the table.  He has scribed 20 scripts, with three sales and one option.  His most recent script, If Loving You Is Wrong (I Don't Want to Be Right) , has created a buzz in the urban film community by gaining strong consideration from top production and distribution companies and executive producers.

As a development writer with a major independent studio, he inked four scripts.  Producers of a DreamWorks-Disney project selected him as one of five writers to pen a screenplay treatment adaptation from the top selling novel by Jack Goddard, The Survivor.    He worked six years as a script analyst / screenwriting teacher for Hollywood Script Analysis in LA, CA, where he performed full analyses on over a thousand scripts - that averages over 16 scripts per month or one every other day!   A tremendous contact and learning opportunity arose when Yanni was selected to the four day First Annual Sundance Independent Producer's Conference held in the cabins at Sundance, Utah.

Arizona history was made when Yanni became the first promoter in the state to produce/direct/write a rocumentary concert film, When Legends Meet,, featuring two international megastars: the Latin Grammy Winning, Kings of Salsa - El Gran Combo and the Godfather of Latin House, Secreto, formerly of Sancocho with their multi-platinum hit Tumba La Casa..  The film already obtained two worldwide distribution deals.  In addition to being co-owner of the four volume Dirty South Hip Hop catalog, he was Producer / Director / Writer of an infomercial for Arizona developer John Jennings and is a certified teacher in film writing as well as film & music production.

Together, they form one terrific team!
